I think you can get the case metrics from PDC.
@RameshSangili Sorry, I couldn’t find it on PDC, as there are hundreds of documents. Let me elaborate on my requirements about case count -
Are case counts based on parent cases, or even child cases are counted?
If I open a case and do not close it the following year, will it be counted as a new case the next year?
It will be helpful to have a reference document that I can look at for my research.

PDC can provide the usage metrics of the database and row estimates of each table. System Resources → Database → Table
To get case level-specific counts can be done with the help of Report definition.
