Overview
Blueprint now features a conversational, Pega GenAI-powered vibe-coding design experience that transforms how you build and refine your applications — describe what you want, and the AI Assistant turns those ideas into well thought-out designs.

What’s new

  • A dedicated AI Assistant pane enables conversational interaction with Blueprint — consult, create, and update workflows, data, Personas, and other elements using plain language
  • Blueprint guides you through available actions at each step, keeping changes relevant to your current context and design stage
  • In the Workflows step, iteratively refine your Case Types through follow-up questions and conversational adjustments
  • The AI Assistant makes Blueprint more approachable for new users while helping experienced designers build faster

Overview
Blueprint now supports proactive, agent-driven assignment processing, enabling users to provide information for an assignment through the email channel — without manual intervention.

What’s new

  • Enable agentic assignment processing directly on an Assignment Step in Blueprint
  • At run time, a Pega-provided AI agent contacts the assignee by email, including relevant Case context, collects the required information, updates the Case, and resolves the assignment automatically
  • Assignment Steps configured for agentic processing display with a distinct purple icon in the Lifecycle, differentiating them from standard green Assignment icons
  • Reduces manual effort for common assignment interactions and helps workflows progress faster

Overview
Blueprint now surfaces best-practice suggestions before you download, helping you address common authoring issues early and improve overall quality before sharing or exporting your design.

What’s new

  • Clicking Download Blueprint in the Summary step now triggers a pre-download suggestions dialog
  • Suggestions are based on best practices, including unused Data Objects, unreferenced fields, and default routing choices
  • Direct links to relevant Blueprint assets are included within the suggestions dialog for quick remediation

Overview
Configure Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) directly within Assignment Steps, capturing essential SLA expectations during early design without adding complexity to the Blueprint authoring experience.

What’s new

  • SLA configuration is available directly on Collect Information and Approve/Reject Assignment Steps
  • Guided model supports goal and deadline duration configuration
  • Escalation options include: notifying an assignee or manager, adjusting urgency settings, and reassigning Cases to a manager, user, or Persona

Overview
Blueprint now provides greater control over how embedded data is used within workflow Steps, allowing you to choose exactly which fields to include when associating embedded data with a Step.

What’s new

  • Select specific fields from an embedded data structure when associating it with a Step
  • Reuse the same embedded data structure across multiple Steps, each showing only Relevant fields
  • Steps remain focused and uncluttered by displaying only the fields they need

Overview
When regenerating a Blueprint, the system now automatically creates a restorable backup version, preventing data loss and ensuring you can confidently refine and regenerate without risk.

What’s new

  • A snapshot of the current Blueprint is automatically saved before regeneration begins
  • The version number is incremented on regeneration (e.g. BP-456200 becomes BP-456200-2)
  • Reverting to a previously saved state is quick and straightforward
