Blueprint app design and Pega application do not align

I am having a play with customer blueprint and created a simple vehicle claim case which capture some basic information about the vehicle and any person injured and when submitted the case goes for review and claim closure.

I went through all the steps in the blueprint journey, manually added some fields to the case data model and added these new fields to the capture information steps in my case. At the end of the blueprint steps on the summary breadcrumb I can download the blueprint as PDF and see the new fields I have added to the data model. I can also see them on the UI when I preview the app through blueprint.

When I imported the blueprint into a fresh instance of Pega community edition, the case lifecycle is reflected correctly and the new fields appear in the data model but the capture information steps do not reflect the manually added fields on the UI. I have to rework the UI for each step manually adding the fields again from with in Pega.

Have you seen this behaviour before or have any advice?

Thanks Barry

@BarryC21 Your screenshots do not show where you added these fields to the data model. Can you please provide screenshots of where you added those fields to the Case data model or a data object? Please take a screenshot of the data model view where they have been created and then select edit for the field and take a screenshot of the Edit Field configuration. Thank you!

Hi @oglej,

I have attached an updated doc with the requested screen shots. I added the fields to the case data model from the ‘Workflow details’ > ‘Case data model’ tab.

Barry

@oglej Barry, sorry for the delay. Turns out this is a known issue and a ticket has been submitted. Sorry for the trouble. Our team is working to improve the blueprint experience and I hope that this issue is resolved shortly.

@oglej Thank you for following up and confirming.
