Add widgets to landing pages by using the landing page Rule form

A landing page is layout plus content. Until ’26, defining the two meant working in two places. Now the landing page Rule form holds both.

What it means

You can add and configure widgets directly on the landing page Rule form in Pega Infinity Studio. The Rule form becomes a single, consolidated interface for defining the full layout and content of a landing page, rather than a place that defines the frame and defers the contents elsewhere.

What it does

  • One place to author. Layout and widget configuration sit in the same form, which removes a context switch from a routine task.

  • Enabled by default. No configuration is required after you update.

  • No migration. Existing landing page configurations are unaffected.

How it works

Open the landing page Rule in Pega Infinity Studio and add the widgets there. That is the whole of it — this is a consolidation of existing capability into one surface, not a new widget model.

What to remember

  • Nothing to enable, nothing to migrate. It is on, and your existing landing pages carry on as they are.

  • There are now two routes to the same outcome. The UI Designer in Preview mode also exposes Widgets under its Content tab. The Rule form is the authoring route; the UI Designer is the real-time, in-context route. Pick per situation rather than picking one for the team.

  • The value is cumulative, not dramatic. One fewer navigation step on a task developers do repeatedly. Worth mentioning in a release summary, not worth a demo of its own.
