User wants to have a Combo Chart widget so we can adjust settings such as chart lines, font color and size. Will this be available soon in Pega releases? Attached reference for Chart control not having the Combo Chart
We see it under Report Definition> Chart, but the configuration do not have the ones in Chart control abovementioned
@Jeremie I believe this is an Enhancement Request that is logged under ID: FDBK-60101
It has not yet been included in any release schedule. I will check internally to see if an SME can provide any input.
Can you implement the workaround to show the combo chart at runtime by using the Chart control instead of pxChart control? In Chart control it will render the chart which is configured at Report definition level chart. We need to configure the combo chart while configuring the report definition, now include the RD in section by using Chart control. Please refer attached document for more info.

I have discussed with the Management and your workaround works fine and they can wait for the official release.
May I know if you know any notification email of the said release that I can subscribe to?
Hello @Jeremie I’m pleased that you are able to work around the issue.
Unfortunately there is no notification mailing list which exists to keep track of these types of product change requests.
The best thing is to check in with your AE occasionally to see if there has been any movement. If I get any feedback from the product group, I’ll be sure to update you here.
Each time a product is released it will also include references in the Published Release Notes to INC and Issue ID’s from which the enhancement was originally requested.
@Jeremie The reporting functionality within Pega is undergoing a fairly dramatic modernization, and the strategic direction for investment in this space is centered around Insights & Explore Data features, which leverage our latest UI technology and provide a new, improved experience for end users. Combo charts specifically are available in version 8.7, with some information available here.
@torra , Oh, thank you for the links! We just recently acquired the v8.6.3 and we’re not yet implementing Cosmos UI so this new feature is something we can definitely look into in the future builds.
