When will Pega Platform 8.8 be released?

In the last days we are noticing a lot of references to the Pega 8.8 release (in the SR that we have opened) even though there is no reference to it in the Pega release calendar (Pegasystems Documentation).

Is Pega Platform 8.8 going to be released in the next months?

I’m also chasing for this date and from some sources it could be between 18/10 and beginning of November.

I have had confirmation from our Software Downloads team: Personal Edition is not released for 8.8 and will likely not be available until 8.8.1.

The delay is due to some development issues and therefore work on PE is now pushed to Pega 8.8.1 version.

Please keep a look out for the future Release documentation and feel free to post the question again if you have follow-up questions.

*** Edit: the issue persists in 8.8.1 therefore PE will not be available until a later date, possibly 8.9 *****
