What setup do we need to enable business users to edit\save insights in production environment ?

The two key steps are

  1. Create a production ruleset - either disable checkout or enable operators to checkout
  2. Add the production ruleset to access of the user who needs to have edit / save as access as “Run time” configuration. Ensure the prod ruleset is adding in the app stack and the user has access to the same

To add to @Jay_KS’s advice, Insights are rules so:

  1. ‘Allow rule check out’ option enabled for the operators
  2. Ensure they have RBAC to the RULE-UI-VIEW class (this is a given with Blueprint created persona’s (or app studio) but i’ve seen manually crafted personas (access groups) that did not have this and hit an issue)
