Upgrade From 8.4 to 8.5

Hi All,

We are trying to upgrade from 8.4 to 8.5. We are using linux 7 with tomcat 9 with jdk 8 and oracle 11g R2. we are using ojdbc8.jar as driver. We have updated the setupdatabase.properties files. On Running the upgrade.sh i am getting the below error

ERROR - Could not retrieve the database time

Attached is the full log trace.

Has Anyone have faced a similar issue.

Hi ShanmugaPriyaB,

Could you please confirm whether the DB user configured for this upgrade has all the required privileges. Pleas find mandatory DB privileges in the following upgrade guide.

Hi All,

The issue was fixed after granting the user roles and priviledges as per the below community post

Yes. But it seems that additional roles is required apart from that in the documentation. I referred the below community post
