We had a requirment were we need to hide a dashboard from from available dashboard list for a specific access group.
Pega in constellation is only providing options to Publish to all, Publish only to this operator and share to current access group.
But if wanted to show to specific access group pega is not doing it for dashboard. When we are working on insights we could restrict insights to specific access group, But when same needed in dashboard same option is not available. Is their any workaround to do it, or this could be a product related issue and we can ask for a Hotfix.
An alternative approach would be to use Landing Pages instead of Dashboards. On Landing Pages, you can place various Insights and arrange to your needs.
To restrict access, one approach is to use the visibility conditions on the Landing Page. If that doesn’t work for you, you could always create a different portal very quickly. E.g., Manager portal vs. Worker Bee portal. And just place your landing page on one portal and not the other.
This approach could be matched our requirement id we are looking to implement insights, But we need a dashboard because we can add multiple insights can configured on a single dashboard and enhances user experience.
