In the Knowledge Buddy portal, we are unable to see the Knowledge Buddy chat icon that usually appears on the bottom right corner to directly test any buddy in the portal.
Earlier when working with Knowledge Buddy both these features were available on the portal screen but now we are not able to find them. We did not make any changes to the access role configurations deliberately so failling to understand what prompted this lack of visibility.
We are using the KnowledgeBuddy:Admins access group to access this portal which has the following configuration
Although it has all the Admin level roles, we are unable to find the features needed to validate the knowledge buddy in the buddy portal. To debug the UI the Developer Toolbar is also not available as the portal uses Constellation framework. If anyone is aware of what the problem could be or have any ideas to debug, please help us out.
We have a non-integrated pega application on constellation with which we are integrating Knowledge Buddy. For content ingestion we are using Pega Knowledge Management platform. However, the problem I reported in the earlier question is observed not in the integrated application or Pega KM but in the Knowledge Buddy portal itself linked with the Knowledge Buddy application. With that said, here is a snap of the application definition with which we are integrating the knowledge buddy by adding KnowledgeBuddyGadget and PegaKnowledgeGadget components
We followed the steps mentioned in the documentation at the time of application creation and the Knowledge Buddy portal functioned as expected too, but we are observing this issue now. Please let me know if any additional info would help in understanding the issue.

I am also facing the same issue now. Have you able to resolved this issue.
It was working perfectly till 2weeks back and now we don’t have the chat icon as well as on the configured application we are not getting any response form the buddy.
We have our Gen AI products provisioned through Pega Labs, so we raised a ticket for our corresponding Pega Labs team to look into the issues but received no response so far. However, we noticed recently that the Knowledge Buddy chat (playground) icon is appearing whenever we open a Knowledge Buddy case although we don’t know how it was fixed. Will let you know as and when we get an update on the other issues as well.
@SaiManojT5983 As far as I’m aware, Pega Knowledge Buddy is a licensed product and requires provisioning of a Vector database (VDB). It is only available for customers on Cloud 3. Therefore it cannot be installed on a Community Edition lab without a license.
However I understand that you already have provisioned GenAI/ Knowledge Buddy therefore the above may not be relevant to you.
I see that INC-B42452 was closed as indeed you are running on Pega Labs and therefore this question should have been directed to them from the start as your question does not relate to Enterprise Software.

I believe the Labs team will continue to look into the remaining issues, namely:
Now able to see only the Knowledge Buddy chat icon but not the Ask Buddy widget on the home page of the Knowledge Buddy portal.
2.When you try to create an implementation application built on Knowledge Buddy application, an error is observed (I do not have the details of the exact error as I do not have access to Labs).
