Unable to execute OIDC flow : Error authenticating user, contact administrator

Whenever I try to login into my Pega cloud instance, I’m getting this error. I have been getting this error since yesterday and I’m not sure how to resolve it. It would be great if someone can help me with this. Thanks.

@VijayD16608255 Hi, Greetings. Did you try this in a new session or via Incognito?

Regards,

Bharat

The error “Unable to execute OIDC flow: Error authenticating user” typically occurs when there is an issue with the OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication process. Some possible causes for this error include:

  • Incorrect configuration of the OIDC authentication service in Pega Platform.
  • Invalid or expired client ID or client secret provided by the identity provider (IdP).
  • Issues with the IdP, such as downtime or misconfiguration.
  • Incorrect mapping of operator ID from the claim in the OIDC authentication service configuration.
  • The operator ID does not exist in Pega Platform, and automatic operator creation is not enabled.
  • To resolve this error, you should review the OIDC authentication service configuration, verify the client ID and client secret, check the IdP status, and ensure that the operator ID mapping and creation settings are correct.
