Unable to create a Pega Robotics Project / Solution

when i try to create an emty project it keeps spinning. if i try using wizard the Framework dropdown is empty. Below is the error i see in the log

‘’ BuildError task: The reference assemblies for framework “.NETFramework,Version=v4.6.1” were not found. To resolve this, install the SDK or Targeting Pack for this framework version or retarget your application to a version of the framework for which you have the SDK or Targeting Pack installed. Note that assemblies will be resolved from the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) and will be used in place of reference assemblies. Therefore your assembly may not be correctly targeted for the framework you intend. (Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets)

I tried to install both 4.6.1 and 4.8. I get FW or a later update is already present.

@KarthikeyanR17043531 It would seem that you are missing a pre-requisite for Pega Robot Studio 19.1. I believe the best course is to open a support request as they can provide you with a link to all of the pre-reqs. I know that one of them is no longer hosted by Microsoft, so if you recently installed Studio 19.1 on a new machine, you’d definitely need that supplied elsewhere.

@ThomasSasnett i did install VSUpdate 3 using an ISO. the prerequisite is all unchecked. I am able to see all the .net framework versions in the windows framework folder too. Just wanted to ask here before i try the SR route, as they recommend us to ask here before raising one

@KarthikeyanR17043531Support is the best option at this point as it isn’t as common for me to encounter installation issues with 19.1. I do suspect there is something missing in regard to the pre-reqs. I know 22.1 requires .Net 4.8, but I thought 19.1 required 4.6.1 which you indicated you have.
