Switching Applications / Access Groups for Users in Pega CSFS Constellation 25.1.3

Hello Team,

Is there a supported way to allow users to switch between applications (Access Groups) in Pega CSFS Constellation 25.1.3?

We have a use case where users need to switch between the AccountSupport and Complaints roles/applications based on their current requirement.

Currently, we manually update the user’s role/access group from AccountSupport to Complaints, or vice versa. The user then has to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.

Since users frequently need to switch between these roles, this process is becoming time-consuming.

Is there any out-of-the-box functionality or recommended approach in Pega CSFS Constellation 25.1.3 that would allow users to switch between applications/access groups without requiring an administrator to update their access and without having to log out and log back in?

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Naganand,

As per my knowledge, “switch application/switch access group” not appear to be supported in the constellation runtime. Constellation experience is a single Interaction Portal with role-based access-driven views rather than multiple portals/applications for different personas.

I am not sure if this can be achieved with customizations.
