Modern ERP systems design has changed lot after AI coming into the picture no more legacy heavy installations with so much of interdependencies and most of the functionality won’t be used by enterprises but pay for the software. AI centric CRM sales force is in edge and Pega systems is good with decisioning in 2026 so keeping efforts in CRM space and winning deals is not easy due to edge computing and enterprises are making their own CRM solutions on-premise cloud’s using AI features and agentic AI. Pega systems needs to take some of the enterprise offerings in subscription model especially campaign management lot of data is getting generated in social media when new offer’s are launched and Pega is good at decisioning and reacting fast to business outcomes after the campaign by taking feeds from social media platforms , podcaster video comments etc. Pega platform has depth in agentic AI which should be used effectively in decisioning for big enterprises like telecom , railways etc. Agentic AI of pega can process huge volumes of data generated in social media platforms and alert the enterprises about there new offerings and take the decisions quickly. Pega as a service is not enough and modern enterprises are taking different approach from monolithic big ERPs . Manufacturing is using edge computing extensively , CRM and HRMS are taken out and building on-premise solutions based on AI platforms. Analytics is moving out from live systems to databricks or snowflake systems for ML and report generations. BA’s are using Domain Expert Assistants for making presentations to the leadership team. so pega as a service for loyal customers is fine but subscription based service’s also required for AI enabled enterprises. Enterprises are moving to hyper scalers for campaign Management and Analytics on customer feedback etc. Pega platform has to market their IP on decisioning in 2026 for other areas of Big Enterprises.
