Due to Advancements in Agentic AI with enhanced capabiity for rewriting application with claude kind of AI’s lot of IT clients are ready to use cheaper solutions for cloud deployments. the application can be hosted in public infrastructure or private or government env or cooperative environment. But pega as a platform provider should able to swtich between clouds smoothly between different cloud technologies . in future judiciary might go for government driven cloud infra , hospitals can go with hybrid approach , MSME 's can go with cooperative model for running there applications. its better if platform doesn’t encourage vendor locking. Since AI is advanced now migrating application in few days, next wave will be on cloud services with different models. Every IT client needs to convince there chief financial officer for IT expenditure
That is an interesting perspective on AI and cloud flexibility, though Pega already provides extensive cloud choice to ensure clients avoid vendor lock-in. While tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot are excellent for writing powerful modules, individual modules are not a platform; replacing Pega’s built-in security, scalability, and orchestration with AI-written code would currently require more effort than the value that might be derived. Instead, the Pega Platform—especially with upcoming Infinity '26 capabilities—allows developers to use these AI tools to focus on high-value components and successfully operationalize AI for real business outcomes.

@carej1 After looking the technology trends i usually predict some path for evolution of the product. Finally its innovation and market trends will decide the AI features in future releases. I have strong bet on AI glasses if its integrates with Pega AI agents especially for federal government projects. Cops can use AI glasses which are connected to intelligent systems to handle bigger tasks like decision making at critical situations, handling large crowd in airports and major events etc. Cloud has enabled scaling up the things faster if we have any feature can be rolled out in any region of the world with hyper scalars. If we design products which can integrate with different systems like not just LLM’s , world models hardware integration especially with drones , medical equipment’s then Pega use can be reflected immediately.
