Self-Service Portal no longer provides an option to display tabs in a full-page view

In Pega Constellation version 25.1.2, the Self-Service Portal no longer provides an option to display tabs in a full-page view. In earlier versions, this functionality was available. How can we achieve the same full-page tab behavior in the current version?

Infinity’ 25 introduced a way to configure the Full Case Page for a Case (prior it was only portals).

I believe this was a deliberate design decision, not to include tabs - simplified view was the intent.

You can’t configure this, so your only option would be to use a worker portal to consume the regular, less simplified, View.

Again, like your other question, I know there will be some new things in this space to give you more control over the full case page. I haven’t seen them yet, so can’t share, but I know they are adding more and more configuration options to full case page so you can tailor these kinds of requirements (not that it helps you now).

@RajDevireddy you can switch this functionality off, to restore the old “case view”. However, you will lose access to the other self-service case type view configurations.

EnableC11nWSSPortal DSS will turn this on/off.

@RajDevireddy For some historical context, the self service portal was released before the self service case view was authorable. Thus, the self service portal utilized the work portal case view. The intent of the self service portal was always to be a more simplified experience compared to the work portal in order to support an occasional user compared to a power user.

in '25, we introduced the ability to finally author the self service case view, which did not have case tabs within the component. Since that component was designed and built, we have heard that use cases demand more real estate for data, and thus are working to add the ability to add one case tab to the self service case view (along with other experiential changes). We are keeping the experience pared down compared to the work portal still, and even though only one case tab will be able to be included, you will be able to change that tab to a sub tab template and thus get more flexibility if needed.
