@IainTollemache a great article from @Chunzhi_Hong! The key thing here is we are not copying the information down into the child, you wouldn’t want to do this. By creating a case reference on your child case, you can then access all the views and data from your parent to show how you like.
- I’ve also seen asks about showing parent case information in Insights, so you should check out this article, you’ll need an association to do that. Some insights into Insights (and Explore Data) | Support Center
Case Hierarchy in '25
The Constellation Design System’s primary way of interacting with a Parent Case if via the Breadcrumb trail in top left
In '25 they are adding a new widget, to help navigate more complex hierarchies.
This will show the cases, hierarchies and allow you to use the Preview capability to see more details about that case.
