Constellation Tips: Preview parent case from child case list view

Use case: Users wanted to stay on the child case’s list view while previewing parent case info.

Configuration details:

1. Create association between the child case and the parent case in Dev Studio.

2. Add parent case ID column into the report definition which sources child case’s list view.

3. Add parent case ID to the child case’s list view using associated column.
