Reloading projects in Pega22 on a remote connection

If we work on a Virtual Machine in Pega Studio 22 and we have an open project, when we close the remote session and reconnect to the VM, this message appears and the project is automatically reloaded.

Is this a necessary action? And can it possibly be changed in the Pega Studio settings? This is often troublesome if, for example, we want someone to access the VM, where we are working on a project, to identify an error or we are temporarily disconnected from a remote session and want to return to work.

@PawelB84 This dialog and functionality was added to protect against loss of work. Our suggestion is that whenever you disconnect from your RDP session, you save your work and/or close Studio. If you do forget however, your project will be saved so you shouldn’t lose anything.

@ThomasSasnett

OK, I understand, but is it possible that this option can be changed by the user now or in the future?

There was no such functionality in Pega 19 and the user had to save the project on his own.

@PawelB84As of now, there is no way for this protection to be turned off. If you do not wish to have your work preserved when disconnecting from your remote session, then before you disconnect, feel free to close Studio on your own and elect not to save anything. You could also just close all the open tabs and elect not to save any of them as well.
