Pega PMM - Enabling paid tactics for Google Ads Account

I am trying to enable paid tactics for the Google Ads Account configured with Pega Paid Media Manager.

We observed that the “Retrieve destination assets and enable insights” checkbox is disabled when a new Google Ads destination is configured. Could see a message confirming “This functionality is temporarily disabled as it was built on Google Adwords API, an earlier generation of Google Ads”

Does this mean we can’t load the recommended paid tactics to the Pega CDH application with the Google Ads destination account now? It seems that the “Retrieve destination assets and enable insights” checkbox is available only for Facebook ad account configuration.

Please let me know the steps needed to enable the paid tactics for the Google Ads Account as our client wants to use only a Google Ad account for their Paid media implementation.

@Nanjundan Chinnasamy please can you clarify why you logged a forum question in parallel to an existing support ticket?

The answer provided by our GCS support team in INC-B45516 indicates that what you are requesting is not possible.

Currently, you can’t get the recommended paid tactics for Google ads Accounts. I will raise Feedback Item to the product team to incorporate the feature in future releases. The enhancement has been logged under FDBK-120732
