Pega Account - Profile - Role

Hi Team,

I have been working with Pega now for over 8 years and I must say that I love the platform. There is just one big disappoinment with Pega and that is that the function/role of QA is (almost) never recognized anywhere as a valid and very import role in development teams.

For example, I am updating my profile with a new project and I need to add a Role (mandatory field). However, no where in the dropdown list is the role of QA to be found. Why? For now, I have granted myself the role of Coach but this does not cover my daily work at all.

As you can see on my profile, I have been working with Pega for a long time, attending PegaWorld’23 last June and getting certified as SA and BA over multiple versions. Please, please, please, start recognizing the vital role of QA and add it to the list of possible roles. Shouldn’t be too big of a change, right?

@MennoR80 please can you confirm- are you referencing your Pega Community profile ‘Project’ role setup?

@MarijeSchillern Yes, indeed. That’s one of the two.

So, the drop down options under My Experience - my projects (per project) AND under Project Roles.

Both dropdowns are the same and are both missing any QA roles.

Application Management / Manager would also be a valid role

In all the listed roles, it’s like no one is handling the technical side of PEGA.

and this is for me different to Operations which is more support and not set up for example
