Recently Microsoft has made an update for the outlook connectivity due to which PEGA cannot connect to outlook using Email Listener.
Is there a resolution or hotfix for this? Please let us know.

@Pranoop please could you clarify what Outlook update you are referring to? Did you upgrade the Microsoft Office Suite?
Did you make sure it is still compatible with Pega 7.2?
Did you check other forum posts such as this one and this one? Also see latest info for Pega 8.x versions concerning Configuring the Outlook add-in component for Pega applications

What Exchange Server is being used?
Was this modified within the Email Listener rule since the Outlook ‘update’?
What Email Listener issues are you encountering? What is the actual symptom experienced in Pega when trying to connect?
Can you review your Email Listener configuration?
Do you have the same issue with other email accounts?
Do you see any errors in the log file?
Did you check with the Exchange Server team and view the mail server and app server logs to check if issue could be due to connection closing in mailbox while listener processing the messages caused the issue ?

First, we are using PEGA 7.2.
We are connecting to a shared mail box using Email Listener. So, we are using IMAP protocol to connect to outlook.office365.com. But, admins informed us that, this will be no longer supported as Microsoft has made some update and we can only connect to it from PEGA using OAuth only. But, we don’t have OAuth compatibility in PEGA till 8.4.
So, I am looking for a hotfix from PEGA or any alternate solution to connect to shared email box from PEGA 7.2

No changes have been made to the Email Listener since the outlook update.

There is no option for anything other than POP or IMAP for PRPC 6.x and Pega 7.x.
We did not create hotfixes to offer a backport on these legacy version.
To support OAuth 2.0 authentication, you need to be on Pega 8.4 (at least). OAuth 2.0 support for email authentication was a new feature in Pega 8.4 and cannot be back ported to earlier versions.
