Is CLM framework in Pega suitable for Employee onboarding in an Organization

Hi Team,

I have a requirement: Onboarding an employee in an organization. The Onboarding process starts from offer acceptance and will be continued utill the employee onboarding completes. The end-to-end onboarding process should be automated. (creating badge, sending required emails, checking pre-employment eligibility etc)

Is Client Life Cycle Management (CLM) framework suitable for the employee Onboarding.? Please give a clarity and proper justification.

Although CLM has a strong focus on client onboarding for financial services, lot of aspects from a framework perspective can be adapted to onboard employees or suppliers for example. The four main stages Capture / Enrich / Due Diligence / Fulfillment can be reused. Capture and Enrich are mostly to get personal information, job role on the candidate and to generate required documents. Due Diligence can be used for the screening and KYC questionnaires to assess eligibility of the candidate. Fulfillment can be used to trigger badge, … once candidate approved

Some other aspects like risk rating, next review date, might not be useful and can be ignored or unplugged.
