How to use email communication in 1:1 Ops Manager?

Hi Team,

We have configured 1:1 Ops Manager in our Dev environment and currently validating the installation. While configuring there is a step mentioned to create a new Email Account. But there is nothing mentioned on how that can be used to communicate changes to different stake holders. Should the Change Request Case to be updated to include the email communication?

Kindly suggest what can be done here?

As mentioned in the document, please edit the PegaMKT-Work-Ops email account and fill out the required information for the Sender account. By default, Pega 1:1 operations manager always utilizes this email account to send out email communications for all its case types, and no additional configuration is required.

When you send an email as part of ops manager flow by using “Send email” smart shape or SendSimpleEmail activity the sender details will be picked from this email account.
