How to Hide Edit button on pega Dashboard

Hello all,

We are looking on a requirement were we want to hide the Edit button the pega dashboard when an user opens and check the dashboard.

I have checked all the OOTB options but the access group allowed to see the dashboard is also seeing the Edit button which we wanted to hide.
We are on pega 25.1.3v of Infinity and constellation enabled.

Kindly share you thoughts,

Hi Sivarama,

I’ve tested with the end user portal and I don’t see the Edit option for End user. Can you please confirm if you’re able to see the Edit option from end user portal?

We are still seeing even from the end user.
should we restrict any access role, are you using any privilege

I’m using Users Access Group which is depdendent on PegaRules:Users Role

we tried same, but we are not able to hide edit.
we also using same role and behaviour is not similar to you even from end user portal.

are you checking Dashboards, and any setting you are applying to dashboard rule to hide the edit button.
Anything specific to modification of dashboard was done at the time of dashboard creation.

Steps to recreate.

  • create a dashboard from work portal.
  • Restrict the dashboard for one particular access group (Share to access group)
  • Login with any operator ID with same access group from the end user
  • end user will be seeing the edit button

Same scenario we are trying to hide the edit button.
