Hi
I am working on a Pega Constellation application (version 24.2.4) and facing an issue with the Assignment summary UI. In the Assignments section, I see “Due in X days” (SLA deadline) displayed as part of the assignment row/card (highlighted in the attached screenshot). My requirement is to keep the SLA configured for processing and escalation but hide the “Due in…” text from the UI. I checked Case Type → Settings and UX configurations but couldn’t find any option to control this. Could you please confirm if there is any supported way to hide the “Due in…” display in Constellation without removing SLA?
As far as supported configuration goes, Constellation treats the “Due in …” text as part of the standard assignment SLA display, so there is no simple toggle to hide it while keeping the SLA active.
It would help to understand why you want to hide it. Whether the concern is user confusion, incorrect due-time wording or simply reducing UI clutter. Depending on that reason, an alternative may be to adjust when the SLA starts, explain the behaviour to users or consider a custom DX component if a different assignment presentation is absolutely required.
Thanks for the quick response.
In our case, the primary requirement is to avoid user confusion. We already display a Case Age value (in days) to represent how long the case has been in progress. Alongside that, the “Due in …” text is shown in a datetime-based format, which creates inconsistency in how time-related information is presented in the UI.
Because of this mismatch (days vs. datetime), users tend to misinterpret the information, leading to confusion between case duration and SLA deadline. From a UX perspective, we would prefer to keep the display consistent and simpler.
Our goal is not to change SLA behavior, but purely to remove the “Due in …” indicator from the assignment summary so that only one clear time metric (Case Age) is visible.
We don’t have any configurations to hide the SLA message “Due in X mins/hours/days”. However, I think this is critical information for the users to be aware of the remaining time to complete this assignment.
Case Age is at the case Level, however Due in 5 mins/hours/days is at the assignment level
Constellation does not currently provide a supported configuration to hide only the “Due in …” indicator from the assignment summary while keeping the SLA active. Since your requirement is purely to reduce UX confusion and not to change SLA behaviour, this would need a custom UI approach rather than standard platform configuration
