Hi,
We would like to improve security by requiring multi-factor authentication when members of the DevOps support team log in to MPC (My Pega Cloud), rather than the Pega application itself.
The Pega documentation provides information on configuring MFA support for Pega applications, but we were unable to find any information on how to require MFA support for MPC logins.
Is it currently impossible to enable MFA support for MPC logins?
If it is possible, could someone please let us know how to do this?
Multi-Factor Authentication for my Pega Cloud cannot be directly enabled by users like it is for Pega applications. However, Pega already enforces strong security controls, and MFA is typically enabled by default for access to MPC, especially for admin or DevOps users. If your DevOps team is not seeing MFA prompts, you should contact Pega Support or your Customer Success Manager to confirm that MFA is enforced on their accounts. If your organization uses SSO (Single Sign-On) with an Identity Provider like Azure AD or Okta, you can enforce MFA through your IdP for all MPC users. You can also request Pega to check and apply MFA settings on specific user roles. So, while there’s no direct setting you can toggle yourself, Pega can help apply the necessary security setup
