How to delete a field

I am trying to complete the lab for low code. I have created a field within the configure view for a step (I set it to embedded data rather than data reference, and I am unable to edit this once i have created it). Therefore, I want to delete the field I created so I can make a new field using the same name. How do I delete a field completely (not just remove it from the case).

  1. If there are references in views for the old field, make the necessary adjustments to untangle.

  2. Delete the field (EmbeddedData)

  3. Create a new field (Data Reference) in the correct layer

  4. Make the necessary changes in the View to display the Data Reference field.

Hi @sheld1,

To delete a field completely (not just remove it from the view) :

  1. Go to app studio case type Data Model → Fields (in App Studio).

  2. Find the field you created.

  3. Click the Delete Icon
