Because I’ve been having trouble understanding the way to add a data relationship (US-002: Create view in low-code app builder topic), I’ve successfully added a field to the view, but then deleted it using the trashcan icon, and tried to add the field again with the same name. Pega doesn’t like that, because I’m trying to add a non-unique field (ie. already exists).
But if I deleted the field, why does it remain (the panel on the left of the dialog - screenshot attached)? Please let me know how I can fully delete unwanted fields from the available list of fields for a view.
Try to navigate to data model tab of the Case type and delete the property/field by clicking on respective trash icon to permanently delete the property from App Studio.
@SanthoshRanga I have the same problem. I don’t want to delete the property but only the created field in the view. At least the field witch been remembered. You can delete it from the view but than it stay’s on the left side to use it for an other view. I just want to delete the auto saved field types. Or a way to change an already defined field.
@CorS3457 Are you referring to just hiding the display of property from app studio so that no others can add it in any other view but still have property in the system ?
the issue is that if I make a mistake in creating any field (aim is to create a field with type boolean but forget to change it), the field created is already saved I cannot change the field type or its id. And the only way to resolve the problem is to recreate the field with a different id.
is there a way to delete the saved field so that I can create it again with the correct form and the first same id?
