  1. Could you let me know in which situations we should go for clearing rule cache.

  2. And how can we know that an issue is caused due to rule cache issue.

  3. how to clear rule cache in Pega 8.6 version

  1. Could you let me know in which situations we should go for clearing rule cache. You could go for clearing rule cache after ruling out all possibilities for a rule not getting picked via rule resolution, facing errors related to rule not getting picked. The clearing of rule cache should be done only after trying out some solution like revalidating etc.

  2. And how can we know that an issue is caused due to rule cache issue. This is quiet difficult to drill down to one specific method. We can list down the possibilities for an issue and rule out one by one and then check the rules cached via the API available in API Management in Admin Studio and then figure out

  3. how to clear rule cache in Pega 8.6 version. We have APIs in the Admin Studio which could be used. PFA for screenshot.
