We are evaluating the use of Constellation in our application. There are a few use cases where we are finding it difficult to implement within Constellation design components. I heard in one of the earlier webinars that Pega prioritizes and adds new features based on the feedback they receive from different clients.
How do I submit formal feedback to Pega? I tried from the Pega support portal (msp.pega.com), but there is no option to submit any feedback.
The feature I want to request is to allow a flow action to be used to add/edit data in a modal window for embedded lists/tables. Alternatively, provide an extension point to execute Pre DT, Obj Validate, and Post DT when launching Add/Edit Modal view to add/update data in an embedded list.
There is an extension point DT “pyRefreshData” which gets called when the modal view is opened. However, the behavior is not the same as a FlowAction Pre DT; the values we set there get lost when the flow action is submitted.
You can connect with your account executive who can connect with the folks who manage FDBK requests, or you can raise an SR where you mention your requirement and if they think it needs to be a feedback request they they’ll create it.
@SohamM95 thanks for your answer - is there a place where we can see the feedback request raised? The Pega support team raised a Feedback for us but I cannot find it. I would like to see where it is at.
@Diane B if it was the pega support (GCS) team who raised it on behalf of your company, then you should be able to log into the MSP and find all the past tickets there.
As already mentioned above, there is no immediate way for you to track the actual enhancement request. You need to make contact with your AE and mention the feedback ID.
