Files and Documents not automatically refreshing on case submit

On the Utilities panel the Files & Documents section is not automatically refreshing once a case has been submitted. Once the case is submitted an email is automatically sent out this should then appear under the Files & Documents section. At the moment it requires a manual refresh or by clicking the cog in the utility section to open and closing again only then will the email correspondence appear.

Please advise.

If this does not help could you provide details of the configuration, refresh strategy , data pages used etc?
