Facing "System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast Object of type. " while trying to click on a button on Windows Form

We are getting InvalidCastException after clicking one of the button on Windows form post upgrading to Pega Version 22.1.29.0

Below are the steps tired from our end to fix same but the issue still persist.

  1. Adding a completely new window form and controls.
  2. Adding all new automation file using this window form.
  3. Adding the references to Project (i.e, Pega.Shared.DependencyInjection. & System.ComponentModel)

Kindly guide us to fix this issue.

@AswathiK16587086 Does this happen with a new Windows Form in a new project?

@ThomasSasnett , Yes, I am seeing same error for new window form in a new project as well. Also, I observed that the Exception occurs only when I try to close the window form having webBrowser control added in it.

@AswathiK16587086 I certainly think this is related to the web browser control. I recommend opening a support incident. If you do, please add the INC to the post.
