Error While installing pega 8.6 personal edition

Hi,

I m getting error “Process finished unsuccessfully use logs to find cause correct it and run again”.

please help how to resolve the issue

@DeepaP17 Hi Deepa is this is issue resolved for you. If resolved can you help me how to resolve because am also facing same issue.

@DeepaP17 Based on your screenshots…Postgres DB was not able to connect with port “5432”.

So while installing…you will see a screen with the port number for Tomcat & Postgres click on the "port availability" button to check the port open on your PC. if not change the port to 5433 for the Postgres DB.

Seems some issue with Database connectivity, Please clean/delete the Pega installation folder and try to install it again .

Change the database port from 5432 to any unused port if required.

Hi @Thorpunuri Saikiran yes this issue resolved for me . I uninstalled the PRPC folder and installed again and I changed the port number.

i have started my installation mean while there is a power cut later i tried to install it but it is showing message process installing unsuccessful see logs

i have deleted entire folder from my c drive and again copied and tried installation anc changed port to 5433 even it is not working what to do now please help me out with this issue
