Doubts regarding Pega Insights

Hi,

  • In the explore data drop down list shows all the available insights. are we able to customize it for our application to show only specific insights?
  • We have nested pages, e.g., pyWorkPage.FirstPage.SecondPage, only FirstPage and its properties are shown in the available fields list. But the SecondPage and its properties are not shown, though there are optimized and marked as relevant. Any suggestions?
  • We are having embedded pages eg: UpdateOperator.Create Date/Time the column name are displaying with page name. are we able to customize the column name?

You can customize the Explore Data drop-down list to show specific insights. You can do this by adding or hiding objects (classes) in the Edit landing page pane of your application (reference 7).

For nested pages, ensure that the properties are optimized for reporting and marked as relevant records. However, the Explore Data tool does not support embedded properties from Page Lists (reference 2).

Regarding column names, the customization options in Insights now include helper text to make the authoring experience easier to understand (reference 6). However, there’s no direct way mentioned in the provided context to customize the column names. You might need to consider customizing the labels of the properties at the class level.

Specifying objects in Explore Data

  1. Customizing the behaviour is not recommended. This functionality is changed in Infinity 23(attached screenshot).

  2. Changing labels by clicking on the column is possible, but customizing the Embedded page name is not.
