We are about to use Pega Robot Manager but we are not sure if it can affect other settings or features in Pega Platform. We will be using existing Pega Platform that has numerous case types or the like.
If we are going to import the Robot Manager in Pega Platform, is it safe to configure it without affecting other features of Pega Platform?
Pega Robot Manager is a Pega Platform application. It doesn’t alter or changes any of the Pega Platform behaviours. It adds error handling to the “Assign to robot queue” smart shape and it is recommended to manage Pega Robots.
As a Pega Platform application it has Job Schedulers and Agents that are enabled by default and that will generate load in the hosting system but that is the only impact that will have on your system.
