We are trying to create a custom task in deployment manager so in first task we are trying to create a change request in first custom task and second task we are trying get the change number and change system id but the values are not passing from first task to other task so we are stuck in this can someone guide or help us to achieve this on how to pass the values between custom tasks
In our client project, we use custom tasks extensively in Deploymet Manager. I documented the relevant information in this posting - Build a custom task in Deployment Manager . There is also an attachment document that contains how to configure. Please see if that might help.
For your specific use case, though, I am not certain whether in the Deployment Manager we can pass a parameter or a property reference (that contains a value from the previous custom task) to a custom task step. That’s something we may have not encountered in our client project. Normally, we pass constant-value parameters to our custom task step.
