Deploying code from Infinity'23 to 8.6 will have compatibility issues?

We are upgrading from onprem 8.6 to onprem infinity’23. We are planning to freeze development in 8.6 and move the team to Infinity’23. But until we finish our Prod upgrade and testing period for about a month would like to maintain the development code in both the environments(Just as a source of backout plan)

Will there be any compatibility issues if we deploy the same package which are in Infinity’23 to 8.6?

Can someone help on this ASAP

If you’re extracting code from Infinity’23 to 8.6, then during the import process in 8.6 the system will throw an error and stop you from progressing. The vice-versa process from 8.6 to Infinity’23 is feasible.
