Delegation in Constellation Applications

Hi All,

We are using Pega 8.8.1 Version and Constellation, Could anyone you please suggest how can we enable/provide an option to Business User to update/edit the delegated table in Constellation application?

HI @karthik N: Delegated rules are still not in Constellation. But there are workarounds for this using Theme Cosmos. Can you please help to check this and this for details.

@KrishnakumarS8523 We haven’t found any solution in constellation application, but we can use below option in the application rule to enable Traditional UI to have a delegation feature.

I think, you have to build 2 applications to implement delegation in Constellation. Please follow the below documentation and ensure the pre-req are satisfied.

I hope this message finds you well. This is Nivas, currently interning at Pega.

I wanted to share a suggestion regarding the implementation of decision table delegation. Instead of using Theme Cosmos or building two separate applications, you can leverage a report definition. This approach involves calling the data model values in the return section of the decision table. Consequently, rather than delegating the decision table itself to the admin for modifications, you can delegate the data model table. Any changes made by the admin to the values in the data model table will automatically be reflected in the decision table.

I am attaching a few images to support this idea. While this might not be the conventional approach, I believe it could be a viable solution from my end..

Hi @ArulDevan, Now I am able to see configuration option in portal but when i click of it its opening in new browser tab, is there a way to open it in same browser tab? and edit button seems not triggering any action(FYI I have delegated a data table)

@karthik N I am also facing the same issue as it launches new login window on click of configuration. Do you get any workaround for the delegated rules to be shown in the portal?
