Ever wonder why a particular Action didn’t make it to you customer - or even why it did?
Say hello to Action analysis, the newest addition to the Customer Decision Hub that doesn’t just show you what happened in production - but gives you insight into the why.
Join us for a fast-paced, insight-packed session where we’ll explore:
Where your actions are getting filtered
Whether you’ve got enough options to win
What’s beating your actions (and why)
Which arbitration rules are calling the shots
No heavy configuration. No waiting. Just real-time clarity, straight from production, right inside the Customer Decision Hub.
If you design, track and optimize Next Best Action decisions, this is your backstage pass to how they really work.
1- Right hand side chart, does show which actions are performing in certain way?
ANS: I hope that “right hand side chart” refers to the “Optionality chart”. Optionality chart is limited to the top level i.e., “All issues” and across “All channels”.
2- In CDH 24.2, how does Best Action Analysis differ in purpose and usage from Action Performance and Value Finder? My understanding is that BAA simulates arbitration outcomes before going live, Action Performance analyzes historical results, and Value Finder highlights missed opportunities due to restrictive policies - is that correct?
ANS: Similar to the question we received in the EMEA call. Value Finder and Action Analysis are distinct in the fact that the former is a simulation and run in the Business Operations Environment (BOE) prior to deploying changes, while the latter is an analysis on the live interactions in Production. Action Performance helps marketers analyze performance trends using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
3- "Is it recommended to run Best Action Analysis in production, or should it only be used in lower environments?
ANS: The data for Action analysis is collected on live inbound interactions in Production. So it should be enabled in Production. Analyzing the collected data happens in the Business Operations Environment (BOE).
4- Is Action Analysis sourcing the production data or is there any data pipeline involved ?
ANS: There is no data migration required for Action analysis. The only pre-requisite is Scenario Planner Actuals is enabled in the data migration pipeline because some of the filters like “Scope” and “Inbound channels” use that data as the source for the filters. The Action analysis data itself requires nothing to be migrated at all.
Hi @AnubhavSrivastava@kamag@AnuragMala@alexburt
For the first time we are planning to implement the Action analysis feature for one of our client.
While I was attending this session, i was in impression that this will be done based on full production data and not via sample data(video time 54 mins), However we i am reading the pega documentation Pegasystems Documentation, It is saying it will be on sampled data . so my questions are
Should this be done in BoE?
Should this be done with sampled data through data migration pipeline(around 20% we do now)?
Or is there any direct linking of Prod data in BoE for doing this analysis
Though i believe this feature make more sense with all the live data rather sample data.
