Case Designer Questionnaire (App Studio) on Cosmos React: no OOTB way to capture a repeating group of fields?

Environment: Pega Infinity '26, Cosmos React UI (App Studio Case Designer / Questionnaire feature).

What I’m trying to do:
Inside a case type’s Questionnaire tab, I need a question that lets the end user add an unlimited/repeating number of rows, each with 3 fields (Name, Email, Phone) with a “+Add another” button.

What I’ve tried:
I used the Custom Section option to built the section, which contains a table with Add Item and Delete actions configured. The section was created and saved successfully. However, when I tried to add this question through the Questionnaire Library, I received the following error:

“This question cannot be added to your survey because it uses a layout which is not supported here — only Plain Text and Rich Text layouts are supported.”

Question:
Is there a supported, OOTB way to capture a true repeating group of fields inside the Questionnaire/Case Designer tool on Cosmos React? Or is this a confirmed gap, and the only way to get a real “+Add another” experience is to build it outside the Questionnaire tool entirely (e.g., a separate stage using a hand-built User Interface section)?

Any guidance or confirmation that this genuinely isn’t supported yet — would help a lot. Thanks!

In our project (Pega 24.1.3), we had a similar requirement and use Pega Questionnaire extensively. Based on our experience, Questionnaire does not currently support configuring repeating groups within a questionnaire case type. In older UI-Kit implementations, it might have been possible to embed a custom section containing a repeating dynamic layout into a question. However, I’m not aware of a supported approach for achieving this in Constellation-based implementations. In our case, we worked with the business team to redesign the questionnaire using alternative question types that met the underlying data-capture requirements.

Can you please clarify if you have tried on Theme Cosmos or Constellation? Sorry, I’m confused your statements with custom section and cosmos react UI. If you’re looking to implement the Repeated Dynamic layouts in Constellation, Repeating Views can be used.

@SowdhaminiR I’d like to move this to User Experience, to go with the other Constellation posts.

However, you are not a member, if you can join then that will allow me to move this (only members can reply to User Experience posts, so you would no longer be able to reply).

Let me know when you join and i’ll move this.
