How to use repeating dyamic layout in Constellation?

How to use repeating dyamic layout in Constellation?

@TwinkleC9682

Repeating Dynamic Layout is a traditional UI component, and as such is not available in constellation. However, the equivalent feature in constellation where a piece of the UI (View in constellation) is repeated for each row / page is configured by using the “Field Group” option when setting the “Display as” setting for embedded data in a view. This allows you to select a view defined on your data object as the repeating UI.

There is some more information in the below linked documentation.

@Marc Alderman May i know which version of Pega that option is valid

@PRIYANKA-5

The information above applies specifically to Pega Constellation UI, available from version 23.1 onward. In version 23.1, the feature was called “Field Group,” but starting with version 24.2, it has been renamed “Repeating View” to better describe its functionality.

Hi @Marc_Alderman , We are on v24.1.4, I am still seeing that its called Field group. Could you please share some documentation which confirms this?

Yes you are correct, in 24.1 it was still called field group. See the following documentation, point 5 (In the Display as list, select the look of your View)

The term “field group” is also used for a different piece of functionality to group fields together on a form, and not related to the repeating of embedded data. This is one reason for updating terminology.
