I tried to Save As a previous version of a decision table but after checking out in order to edit it, the buttons like adding a row or column and the delete buttons for the decision table are not working. There is also the edit in excel button but whenever I click it, it prompts me to notepad instead. Attached is the image that shows the decision table not editable via excel.

Open a decision table and click on "Edit in Excel’ button.
ROOT CAUSE
An issue in the custom application code or rules
Security setting for internet explorer was not set correctly.
RESOLUTION
Perform the following local-change: Selecting “Trusted sites” and making sure “Enable Protected Mode” was turned off resolved the issue.
Please note that you are on a very old Pega version.
