BluePrint Error while upload (German Language)

Getting the following error while uploading a blueprint with german language. “The Blueprint being imported contains the Eszett character which is not currently supported in field identifiers.”

Has anyone similar issue with other language?

@vinaysbiradar do you still need help with this? Can you attach a screenshot of the error you are getting?

What is the Pega Infinity version you are using?

Creating a new application from a Blueprint

Can you provide some simplified steps for us to replicate?

According to our academy documentation it should work.

@MattHealy:brain::flexed_biceps::chart_increasing: is this something you could help with?

@MarijeSchillern I have encountered the same problem using Infinity 24.1 Version.

Problem occurs as well if creating a german case type without any Eszett characters.

As of now i couldn’t find a way to import german blueprints into the system and would appreciate any help/infos on the topic.

Greetings

Sergej Schmidt

@DennisGrady is this something you could help answer?

@SergejS4 can you provide details of the step and a screenshot of the error you are getting?

If you’re following the documentation and the product is not behaving as documented then I would suggest that you log a support incident via the MSP.

Please provide the INC id here so that we can help track it.

@SergejS4 Please try enabling this DSS on your system:

Pega-RulesEngineRuleManagement/EnableUnicodeRuleNames

(old release note: Pegasystems Documentation)

And let us know if this gets you past the issue!

@MattHealy:brain::flexed_biceps::chart_increasing: Thank you for the feedback, unfortunately it does not solve the issue for importing a german blueprint. .

@MarijeSchillern here is the Screenshot of the Error:

@SergejS4 and @vinaysbiradar My research shows that you may be encountering BUG-866380 According to the resolution notes “This issue is resolved in 24.1.1 and 24.2. We replaced eszett with ‘ss’ now”.

If you are both already using Infinity 24.1.1 (released in June) suggest that you either log a ticket via the MSP with our support team to confirm my analysis, or wait until Infinity 24.2 comes out. If you do log a support ticket could I ask that you post a reply with the INC id so that I can help track progress?

@MarijeSchillern Thanks a lot! The update from 24.1.0 to 24.1.1 solved the issue on our side.
