@Gopal@FT Oracle 19C is not supported on PRPC 7.x. The fact is 19 C Released early 2019 and by then Pega 7.x series all versions were out there.
Not only just the Oracle version you need to consider, you must check the Java Version and the Driver version as well. So, you will have to consider Pega 8.5 or 8.6 in case you want to connect to Oracle 19C, as those are the only compatible platform versions for Oracle 19C.
We are looking at Oracle 19C on ExaCC (Oracle Exadata on Client Cloud) hosted within our datacenter.
While reviewing the platform support guide for PRPC 8.6, I noticed that PRPC 8.4 is also compatible on Oracle 19C. Oracle 19C is supported from PRPC 8.4 (page 17) when database is hosted on-premise and 8.5 onwards (Page 16) when database is run on AWS cloud.
Can you please confirm that if PRPC 8.4 is fully supported on Oracle 19c when run on ExaCC (Exadata on Client cloud)?
We are using RHEL6 which is not supported beyond PRPC8.4.
