Yes, when a prediction for Case Management is created for ‘case completion’ it is driven by an adaptive model. See for example: Creating a case completion prediction | Pega Academy

Yes we can. Prediction is an encapsulation layer/component. You can use business rule/ADM/other prediction models to implement the prediction.
