Version range mention for Pega articles

Hello,

I have been assigned to a project on Pega 7.1.9 where I am in charge of adressing rules warnings.

During my research phase on Pega Knowledge, I found this article on Pega Community about rule warnings and their respectives steps to conform.

At the end of the article, there is this mention: Pega Platform 7.1.1 - 7.4.

Does that mention means that the article is valid for any Pega version from 7.1.1 to 7.4 (including 7.1.9 :D)?

Hello @RusselK1

The tag, Pega Platform 7.1.1 - 7.4, at the end of the below article

indicates the product version of Pega Platform for which the content of the article is valid.

@PoojaGadige

I am a bit confuse.

Does it means that…

Either the article is valid for versions 7.1.1 and 7.4 only?

Or the article is valid for any version ranging from 7.1.1 to 7.4? If yes, does that range include 7.1.9?

Thank you

Hi @RusselK1

I can see how this can be confusing as the title says 6.3 and there is note that says “This dictionary contains the warnings for PRPC 6.3.”.

However at the bottom, it does show the versions7.1.1 - 7.4. Those are the range, so any version of Pega between 7.1.1 and 7.4 (which would include 7.1.9 yes).

I reached out to my colleagues on the Pega Community KnowledgeBase side and found out that since this article is archived, we are not updating the versioning but it does include 7.1.9 in that range.

Hope that helps!

@MarissaRogers Thank you

You’re welcome @RusselK1! Glad that it helped! :slight_smile:
