UTF-8 encoding support for Pega CDH Actions bulk import (from csv file)

Hi @SethRobinson, @Saleem_A,

We have Action description & benefits described in non-english language. eg: French. When we update the Action details using Actions form, there is no issue. However, when we download the Actions for bulk updates and importing back to CDH portal causes encoding issues where non-english language texts are not rendering properly. Please refer to the screen prints attached.

Do we want to make any additional tweaks/configuration changes to support non-english languages or Action/Treatment file upload?

We tried changing the csv file encoding file format to UTF-8 before uploading the Action file. However, Action updates are not fine due to internal csv file processing.

@Nanjundan Chinnasamy Are you importing the actions on the action landing page via some other process?

@Nanjundan Chinnasamy After investigation, it looks to be platform code that is dealing with the encoding/decoding of the csv stream. Hence please raise an INC.
