USPhone edit validate typing 10 numeral only

In that OOTB edit validate rule “USPhone” validation is applied for 14 digits but we need to have only 10 for validation for (xxx) xxx-xxxx format. So I want to do the configuration in such a way that the user can only be able to type 10 digits only and then automatically it will apply validation at that time only when a user is inputting numbers from the keyboard and he may be able to see the validation also at the time of input only same as this example https://www.lyft.com/signup
