We are in Pega 8.5, while creating new topic model in prediction studio we don’t see a place to upload the Taxonomy file, which contains “Should words, Must words, No words”. There is only one place we upload the excel file that is for training data.
In Pega 8.3 we were able to do so. Is this change intentional? If yes, then how do we upload the keywords for topics in Pega 8.5 ?
Please follow the below steps, In order to create a keyword topic model, enter the required values and then select the “Use keywords” radio button
The topic model gets created and you can observe the Actions dropdown at the top menu, click on the dropdown and select the Import option
You can upload your taxonomy file in the dialog box and make sure that you have correct column names in the excel file before uploading, you can validate the column names by using export option in the same dropdown

I was expecting if we can add keywords in ML based model similar to Pega 8.3 ? Is it not feasible now ?
From 8.5, The taxonomy tree is auto generated from the training data. When the ML is used, keywords have very less weightage however if you have additional keywords related to same topic, you can update them in taxonomy review screen. but you cannot import the taxonomy file
